Mauritius is an Indian Ocean island of about 1.3 millions inhabitants. Mauritius is independent since the 12 March 1968 and a republic since the 12 March 1992. Our economy depends on sugar cane, textile, tourism, ICT, financial services and fisheries. The surface area of Mauritius is 2,040 km2.
